I made it to Regionals! It was fun. I made the hour-and-a-half drive with some good friends. We listened to awesome music and talked about random and funny topics (such as my accompanist’s opinion of my style :P), and then once we had made it safely there it was time to warm up and sing. My poor accompanist had to deal with me majorly flubbing the Hindemith, but since no one sings Hindemith, I don’t think the judges knew we messed up 😉 I love obscure music. Except for the fact that it is impossible to find recordings. And then we watched an episode of Dr. Who and drove home to more music and thcomversation. Oh, and did I mention the awesome lunch at Mellow Mushroom? Yum! Later tonight I’m going to a composition recital and then to someone’s house to watch a movie in German 😀
So all in all, a quite wonderful day.
