What is it about shopping that just makes a girl happy? I went shopping with my mom yesterday, and even though she bought more than I did it was a very enjoyable day. I dunno, I think I just enjoy looking through all the stuff and not having to do anything else. And since I do need some clothes and shoes, I don’t feel bad for getting new stuff. It’s a win-win situation 🙂 I think my favourite acquisition from yesterday is the snake necklace I found at J.C Penney’s. The main motif is a snake head crossed with its tail in the very front. The chain part of the necklace is made out of a metal mesh that moves and somewhat looks like a snake. It’s just perfect! It makes me happy.
I’ve started working on Italian as well. It’s fun to go back and try to remember the way the language works. I’m not too far into it, so I haven’t learned too much that I can forget. It’s cool, though, to see how it sticks with you. I think that’s the best thing about the Rosetta Stone program. When you learn a language in school you have to do a lot of straight memorization, but with Rosetta Stone everything is reviewed so much and in several different ways, so the words just learn themselves 🙂 Pretty cool.
