I wore my new skirt today 🙂 The occasion was my church’s VBS (Vacation Bible School). I’m helping with the 5th Grade girls’ class – in which my sister is most conveniently situated. We had Bible lessons, played games, cheered, sang, and ate yummy snacks. All in all, much fun.
I made dinner, too – taco pie. I didn’t get a picture, but rest assured it tasted quite as it should have.
Ooh! And I started a new tatting project yesterday!! You probably laugh at me because this makes 3 projects going on at once, but you know how it is…one at a time gets too tedious. I like smaller scale projects that can get done in just a few hours. I’m hoping this will be one of those. I’ve been wanting to make this pattern for quite some time now, but haven’t been able to find the pattern. Cue the library. Yup, they had the lovely pattern book. It’s Mary Konior’s Tatting with Visual Patterns, and it contains several quite useful tips that I never would have thought of. So if you want to get me a present, now you know what I want!
