Seriously, it has. Or maybe it dragged…I’m not sure which. Probably both. I haven’t tatted hardly at all since before I left home, but last night I was able to do a few stitches in a new grey yarn that I got for a necklace I’ve yet to design. You know how you just have to work with it to see what it will be like. I’m quite pleased.
School has been going well. I’m taking 18 credits, but since 3 of those are voice lessons (entailing 12 hours of practice weekly), it feels more like 15 credits. 12 hours sounds like a lot, but I’ve been doing 10 for the last 2 years, so an extra 2 hours a week really doesn’t feel like that much more. Yet.
I’m still trying to pick songs for my senior recital. I had 2 bigger sections picked out until my good friend and accompanist said he hated one of them… Ah well, such is life. I had already performed that one anyway. If anyone has any cool ideas I’d love to hear them!!
Spiritually I’m really excited for this year. Being a college student infers that you’re somewhat poor, and who am I to buck that trend? I’m excited to see how God is going to answer prayer this year and show me His power and just how much He cares for me. And in recent weeks I’ve really been challenged to love Him more. It’s pretty cool.
Anyway, over and out.
