Yarn is Rainbow in the Dark in The Fiber Seed Sprout Sock. Vanilla socks with an afterthought heel.
I’m also super excited to be designing a cowl. The patterning is starting to show up, and it is gorgeous!
I’m knitting this with mawata silk hankies dyed by Beesybee.
I went to the yarn store for needles…and came out with yarn. But that’s not surprising to anyone.
This is Blue Heron Yarns Rayon Metallic in the colourway Carnelian. I have wanted it ever since I first saw it months and months ago, and finally it is mine!

I was drawn to this when I saw “Pink Floyd Socks” in my knitting tag feed, but I must say that we all have that feeling when we go to get needles and come out with yarn. It’s very pretty yarn, by the way.
